UPDATE:  At the beginning of February Miss Anna was accepted into a  prison dog training program.  At the end of thirty days she will have basic manners, walk on a leash, be housetrained and crate trained.  Anna has gratuated from the program and now has basic obedience and is housetrained. Hey everybody, my name is Heidi. I am over three years old and I am a bassett/aussie mix. I weigh about 50 lbs and am kind of low to the ground. I was very happy in my home until my mom got sick and went to the hospital. She never came home again.
